The brass regulator is a low pressure regulator that is adjustable from 10-35 PSI. It can be used with the automatic water control to regulate the pressure.
Excessive pressure can cause valves to close prematurely. Insufficient pressure will cause the cells to fill more slowly and will delay closing. We offer a variety of pressure regulators to assist in controlling house pressure.
Since municipal water supplies vary in static pressure from very low to very high, we recommend filling through our delivery system that has a built in regulator to drop the static pressure at the connector down to 10 PSI.
