Gas Ventilation

When lead-acid batteries are put on charge, they can and will release hydrogen gas, a class 4 flammable substance. If not monitored and properly ventilated (≤1% Hydrogen) or detected, the percent of hydrogen can rise to a level where there is a high risk for combustion (≥4% Hydrogen), potentially resulting in a catastrophic explosion.

To ensure this dangerous situation does not occur in the workplace, IBP delivers security and comfort by offering high-performance gas detection equipment (GD-Series) paired with our reliable ventilation systems (VS-Series).
